Barcelona-based edtech firm StudiesIn has taken a significant step in its European expansion by acquiring a high-traffic student portal network, a move that is set to boost its visibility and influence across the continent’s international education market.

Announced in June 2025, the acquisition aims to position StudiesIn as one of Europe’s top platforms for connecting international students with affordable, high-quality education opportunities. The acquired network comprises a collection of student-focused websites with strong user engagement across key European countries.

The integration of the newly acquired platform will enhance the company’s recruitment capabilities, marketing reach, and overall impact across Europe’s growing study-abroad sector.

Funding and Growth Trajectory

To support this strategic growth, StudiesIn is currently raising €500,000 in fresh capital, with €200,000 already secured. This follows its successful financial performance in 2024, during which it recorded €665,000 in revenue.

The company plans to complete the integration of the acquired student portal in the coming quarter. This will be followed by a ramp-up in marketing efforts, alongside the rollout of enhanced services for students and partner institutions.

With this acquisition, StudiesIn projects that it will be able to serve over 1 million international students annually, solidifying its role as a key player in Europe’s higher education landscape. The move also reflects a broader trend in the edtech sector leveraging digital infrastructure and regional partnerships to better serve the growing demand for international education across Europe.
