Its excellent transport links and rich cultural heritage make it an ideal location for international students looking to improve their English and gain valuable professional skills.”
The acquisition includes the full retention of existing staff to ensure continuity for the school’s current cohort of over 50 students. Beyond traditional English language courses, Bayswater Leeds plans to introduce micro-credential programs in high-demand fields such as digital marketing and international business. These additions are designed to reflect Leeds’s growing reputation as a business and technology hub in the North of England.
Bayswater’s connection to Leeds runs deep. CEO Stephan Roussounis was born and raised in the city, and Co-Founder James Herbertson is an alumnus of the University of Leeds. Their personal ties are expected to shape the strategic vision for the new campus and foster long-term collaboration with the local community.
With operations across the UK, Canada, South Africa, Cyprus, and France, Bayswater Education combines English language instruction with professional education to deliver transformative learning experiences. The organisation also operates under a social impact model funding the education of an underprivileged child for every student it teaches.
The rebranded Bayswater Leeds campus is set to welcome its first intake at the new location this September, bringing a fresh educational offering to one of the UK’s most vibrant student cities.
