UK Expands ‘Top Talent’ Visas Under New Industrial Strategy to Attract Global Talent

The UK government has unveiled a bold vision to attract top-tier international professionals and graduates through its Modern Industrial Strategy, with sweeping reforms to its High Potential Individual (HPI) and Global Talent visa schemes. This strategic update forms a key part of the UK’s broader “Plan for Change” aimed at boosting innovation, filling critical skill gaps, and maintaining its global competitiveness.

As part of the initiative, the number of eligible global universities for the HPI visa will be doubled, enabling more international graduates from prestigious institutions to relocate to the UK with ease.
